Jake Knotts is a church planter in the Ukraine. A year ago he sent me an e-mail expressing appreciation for The Gospel-Centered Life and asking if he could translate it into Russian. (Besides planting a church, he had started a publishing company on the side to put good theological resources into the hands of Russian church leaders). I connected him with the good folks at New Growth Press… and the plan went forward.
Two weeks ago, I met Jake face-to-face for the first time at an Acts 29 conference in Orlando, and he put a copy of the newly translated material into my hands.
Jake… thanks for helping to make quality gospel resources available to the roughly 200 million people in the world who speak Russian.
Bob,
We are really happy to see this available in Russian too. It was great meeting you at the A29 event in Orlando.
Also, if you find yourself in Europe at all in 2012, give us 3 days and we can get together with a bunch of pastors and ministry leaders and have a good time!
By the way, my last name is Knotts, not Chambers:)
Dang. Sorry. Correction made.
